The concert series “Stunde der Musik” (Hour of Music) presents a variety of concerts in the City of Halle, featuring music from classical to modern jazz.
Over the course of a season, up to eight concerts are staged in the Freylinghausen Hall at the Francke Foundations. I am in charge of the management of the sponsoring association, the artistic direction and the event management.
Initially held in 1952, the Stunde der Musik concert series in Halle (Saale) is now one of most traditional concert venues in Central Germany.
Over the past decades, numerous personalities and ensembles have performed in Halle (Saale) as guests in our concert series, such as Swjatoslaw Richter, Midori, Brigitte Engerer, Peter Schreier, Dang Thai Son, Linos Ensemble, Trio Parnassus, Aurèle Nicolet, Alban Gerhardt, Cuarteto Casals, Natalia Gutman, Ewa Kupiec, Janáček Quartett, Trio Wanderer, Elisso Virsaladze, Isabelle Faust, Leipziger Streichquartett, Vera Gornostayeva and Heinz Holliger.
